A two day wild camping trip climbing the highest mountains in England with a wild camp near the tops!
We will take a two day backpacking trip, starting in Eskdale and climbing the Slight Side Ridge to the summit of Scafell. The ridge will then be followed (via Foxes Tarn) as we cross Scafell Pike and continue along the ridge to camp near Great End. Weather permitting we will be able to see a magnificent sunset and if we are up early enough the next morning sunrise!
The route for the second day is fairly flexible, but the plan is to follow the Allen Crags and Glaramara ridge to descend to the Borrowdale Valley.

Climb Scafell via Slight Side and continue along ridge over Scafell Pike (Via Foxes Tarn)
Wild camp below Great End
| Day 2: |
Option 2: Descend to Langdale over Esk Pike and Bowfell. Drive back to Keswick.
The Lake District Walker will provide one or two man tents and stoves, clients are expected to bring all other equipment and food.
